Creative Courses in Malaysia: Claz’room College Highlights Future Career Pathways at National TVET Day 2026
KUALA LUMPUR, 26 June 2026 — For students who enjoy drawing, games, animation, films or digital content creation, choosing the right study pathway can help turn creative interests into future career opportunities.
Creative industries today require more than artistic talent alone. Behind every game character, animated scene, film visual effect or digital world, there are creative talents who understand both art and production skills. This is where creative TVET education plays an important role.
This direction was showcased at Hari TVET Negara 2026, where Claz’room College, Malaysia’s Leading Creative College recognised by the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE), participated as the only college representing Malaysia’s 3D Digital Game Art industry. Held from 5 to 7 June 2026, the national-level event brought together education providers, training institutions, government agencies and industry leaders to highlight the future of TVET education in Malaysia.

Mr. Wong Jin Min, Principal of Claz’room College, delivered a presentation on Augmented Reality (AR) and its growing role in everyday life during Hari TVET Negara 2026.
At the event, Claz’room College was selected under the Future Skills Showcase and Technology Demonstration category. The college introduced visitors to the technologies and workflows behind today’s creative industries, including game development, animation, visual effects, 3D content creation and immersive media.
One of the key experiences was an Augmented Reality (AR) mobile activation developed in collaboration with TrueXR. Visitors were able to interact with immersive 3D visuals through a mobile device, showing how AR can be used in storytelling, education, entertainment and digital media.
