Mobile Legends x Claz’room College Art Competition Malaysia 2026 Opens for Aspiring Artists

Young Malaysians aged 16 - 19 with a passion for drawing and digital illustration are invited to participate in the Mobile Legends x Claz’room College Art Competition Malaysia 2026, a nationwide competition celebrating the next generation of creative talent.

Organised through the collaboration between Claz’room College and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), the competition encourages participants to combine imagination with Malaysian culture by creating original artworks inspired by the world of MLBB.

Mobile Legends: More Than a Game for Malaysian Youths

Malaysia's digital entertainment industry continues to grow rapidly, with the country home to an estimated 18.8 million gamers. Among them, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang has become one of the most popular mobile games, attracting millions of players and establishing itself as a significant part of Malaysian youth culture and the local esports ecosystem.

Beyond competitive gaming, Mobile Legends showcases the work of talented illustrators, concept artists, 3D modellers, animators, and visual effects artists. Every hero, skin, environment, and cinematic sequence is the result of creative professionals working behind the scenes.

Recognising the influence of gaming on today's generation, Claz’room College and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang collaborated on this initiative with a shared objective: to transform young people's passion for gaming into an appreciation for digital art and creative careers. The competition aims to encourage participants to discover that the games they enjoy are built by artists and designers whose skills can become rewarding professions.

Bringing the Land of Dawn to Malaysia

Participants are challenged to reimagine the Land of Dawn within uniquely Malaysian settings. From famous tourism landmarks and heritage streets to tropical islands, festive celebrations, and local cultural icons, artists are encouraged to blend the fantasy world of Mobile Legends with the beauty and identity of Malaysia. 
Both traditional drawing and digital illustration submissions are accepted, allowing participants to showcase their creativity and visual storytelling through their preferred artistic medium. 

Open to Young Creative Talents Nationwide

Open to Malaysian citizens and permanent residents aged 16 - 19, the competition welcomes secondary school students, school leavers, and aspiring artists interested in digital illustration, concept art, and creative media.

Whether participants are passionate about character design, concept art, illustration, or multimedia art, the competition provides a platform to develop their creativity while gaining national recognition.

Encouraging Growth in Malaysia’s Digital Creative Industry

Malaysia continues to experience significant growth in creative sectors such as digital illustration, animation, film visual effects (VFX), character design, game art, and multimedia production. Through this collaboration, Claz’room College aims to nurture artistic talent while encouraging young Malaysians to explore creative education and future opportunities within the industry.

The competition is proudly supported by Chaofun and Pelangi Publishing Group, bringing together partners from the gaming, publishing, education, and creative industries to support Malaysia’s future generation of artists.

International Panel of Industry Judges

Adding further prestige to the competition is an international judging panel comprising official Mobile Legends visual artists, renowned Comic Fiesta artists, creative studio executives, and representatives from the publishing and entertainment industries across Malaysia and China.

Over RM700,000 in Scholarships and RM20,000 Cash Prizes

The Mobile Legends x Claz’room College Art Competition Malaysia 2026 offers one of the country's largest reward pools for young artists.

Participants will compete for:

• RM20,000 total cash prizes
• Over RM700,000 worth of scholarships

Competition Schedule

The competition officially runs from 13 May 2026 until 31 July 2026, after which submissions will undergo judging and review throughout August 2026.

Finalists and winners will be honoured during the award ceremony in September 2026 at Claz’room College, Petaling Jaya, where outstanding works will be recognised for their creativity, originality, and storytelling.
