If we make any material change we will notify you by email (sent to the e-mail address specified in your account) or by means of a notice on this site prior to the change becoming effective. The changes will apply to your use of any Sure Expo Services after Sure Expo have given you notice. If you do not wish to accept the new terms you should not continue to use any Sure Expo Services. If you continue to use any Sure Expo Services after the date on which the changes comes into effect, your use any Sure Expo’s Services indicates your agreement to be bound by the new terms.
In this Privacy Notice:-
“Centre”, “Contract”, “Contract Form”, “Exhibitor”, “Fair” and “Organiser” shall have the same meaning as defined in the contract for participation in the Fair(s) as found at https://sureexpo.com.my/to-exhibit/.
“Sure Expo Services”, “Sure Expo Website”, “Advertiser” shall have the same meaning as defined in the Terms of Use as found at https://sureexpo.com.my/terms-of-use.
“personal information” is data that can be used to identify an individual.
“processing” includes but is not limited to collecting, holding, storing, recording, organizing, adapting, using, disclosing, correcting, and destructing.
1.1 When you use Sure Expo Services
(a) Each time when you use the Sure Expo Services, you may be asked to provide certain personal information about yourself.
(b) The personal information collected from your use of the Sure Expo Services includes but is not limited to your email address, name, nationality, identity card number, passport number, country of residence, and contact number.
(c) Whenever the personal information requested by Sure Expo is marked as a “Required Field”, you must provide and agree to the processing of this personal information by Sure Expo. If you do not agree to provide this personal information and/or not agree to us processing it in the manner set out in this Privacy Notice, then Sure Expo will be unable to provide the relevant services to you and your application for such services will be rejected.
1.2 From your use of the Sure Expo Services
(a) We collect personal information directly from you when you choose to use any Sure Expo Services. The following are examples of personal information Sure Expo may collect directly from you:-
(b) If you wish to stop Sure Expo from processing this type of personal information about you, Sure Expo will no longer be able to provide the relevant services to you.
(c) In addition, Sure Expo may ask your permission to post your testimonial or success story. If you agree to post your material on the Sure Expo Website, you should be aware that any personal information you submit can be read, collected, or used by other users of the Sure Expo Website and could be used to send you unsolicited messages. 1.3 When you visit the Sure Expo Website

(f) Our partners and service providers use cookies to collect information about the usage of Sure Expo’s website. The use of cookies by our partners and service providers is not covered by our privacy policy. We do not have access or control over these cookies.
2.1 The purposes for which Sure Expo processes your personal information are as follows:-
(a) To verify your identity;
(b) To provide you with Sure Expo Services;
(c) To contact you in respect of Sure Expo Services;
(d) To investigate and resolve any of the billing queries, complaints or other enquiries that you submit to Sure Expo regarding your use of Sure Expo Services;
(e) To manage staff training and quality assurance;
(f) To monitor and improve the performance of the Sure Expo Website and Sure Expo Services;
(g) To maintain and develop the Sure Expo Website and the Fair;
(h) To gain an understanding of your information and communication needs in order for Sure Expo to enhance and customize the Sure Expo Services;
(i) To conduct research and development and statistical analysis in connection with the Fair to identify trends and develop new services that reflect your interests;
(j) To assist Sure Expo in understanding your browsing preferences on the Sure Expo’s Website so that Sure Expo can tailor content accordingly;
(k) To detect and prevent fraudulent activity.
2.2 You are not able to limit the processing of your personal information for the purposes set out in Clause 2.1 above. If you do not consent to Sure Expo processing your personal information for the said purposes, you must cease participating and using Sure Expo Services.
2.3 Sure Expo will ask for your consent before processing your personal information other than those set out in Clause 2.1.
2.4 In addition, Sure Expo may use your personal information for the following purposes:-
(a) To promote and market to you:
(i) Other Sure Expo’s services; or
(ii) Services of third parties which Sure Expo thinks may be of interest of you; and
(b) To send you event invitation, seasonal greeting messages and/or message informing you of a critical performance error in the Sure Expo Services.
(c) To send you tips, advice and survey information to maximize your business development including but not limited to using the Sure Expo Services.
3.1 You may have different privacy concerns. Sure Expo’s goal is to be clear of what information it collects, so that you can make meaningful choices about how it is used.
4.1 Sure Expo will retain your personal information for the period necessary to fulfil the purposes set out in Clause 2 above unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
SECURITY OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
4.2 Sure Expo is committed to keeping personal information secure. Sure Expo has appropriate technical, administrative and physical procedures in place to protect personal information from loss, theft and misuse, as well as against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction.

5.1 Personal information mentioned in Clause 1 above may be disclosed to the classes of third parties as follows in order for Sure Expo to effectively manage its business including to provide the Sure Expo Services to you and to achieve the purposes described in Clause 2:-
(a) The Centre;
(b) The Advertiser;
(c) Third parties contracted by Sure Expo to assist Sure Expo in providing the Sure Expo Services to you, including without limitation, to the following:-
(i) Payment gateway services for optional services;
(ii) Profiling/assessment services;
(iii) Advertising services;
(iv) Mapping services;
(v) Maintenance and repair services; and
(vi) Market research and website usage analysis services.
(d) Strategic partners that work with Sure Expo to provide the Sure Expo Services to you or that help market and promote Sure Expo Services and/or Sure Expo Website;
(e) Professional qualifying bodies where you obtained your accreditation;
(f) Regulatory bodies, governmental bodies or other authorities if required or authorized to do so to discharge any regulatory function, under any law or in relation to any order or judgment of a court;
(g) Regulatory bodies, governmental bodies or other authorities for the purpose of detection or prevention of crime, illegal/unlawful activities or fraud or for the apprehension or prosecution of offenders, or for an investigation relating to any of these;
(h) Any party involved in or related to a legal proceeding (or prospective legal proceeding), for purposes of the legal proceedings;
(i) Sure Expo’s professional advisors on a need-to-know basis for the purpose of those advisors’ providing advice to Sure Expo;
(i) Any third party which acquires all or part of the assets or business of Sure Expo (including accounts and trade receivables) for the purpose of that third party continuing to provide the Sure Expo Services to you which it acquired; and
(j) Otherwise permitted under any data protection legislation.
5.2 Other than set out above, you will receive notice when personal information about you might go to third parties, and you will have an opportunity to choose not to share the information.
5.3 Sure Expo does not sell or rent any personal information collected to any other parties.
6.1 You are responsible for providing accurate, not misleading, complete and up-to-date information to Sure Expo about yourself and any other person whose personal information you provide us and for updating this personal information as and when it becomes inaccurate, misleading, incomplete and out-of-date by contacting Sure Expo here.
6.2 In the circumstances you may need to provide to Sure Expo personal information about someone other than yourself. 7.1 It may be necessary for Sure Expo to transfer your personal information outside of your local jurisdiction if any of Sure Expo’s overseas service providers or strategic partners are involved in providing, managing and assisting in any Sure Expo Services.

8.3 Our website includes Social Media Features, such as the Facebook button and widgets, or interactive mini-programs that run on our site. (a) Untuk mempromosi dan memasarkan kepada anda:
(i) Perkhidmatan Sure Expo lain;
(ii) Perkhidmatan pihak ketiga yang difikirkan oleh Sure Expo mungkin menarik minat anda, dan
(b) Untuk menghantar jemputan, mesej ucapan bermusim dan/atau mesej pemberitahuan anda kesilapan kritikal dalam Perkhidmatan Sure Expo.
(c) Untuk menghantar anda tips, nasihat dan meninjau maklumat kajian untuk memaksimumkan pembangunan perniagaan anda tetapi tidak terhad kepada penggunaan anda dalam Perkhidmatan Sure Expo.
3.1 Anda mungkin mempunyai kebimbangan privasi yang berbeza. Matlamat Sure Expo adalah untuk menjelaskan maklumat yang dikumpul, supaya anda boleh membuat pilihan yang tepat mengenai cara ianya digunakan .

5.1 Maklumat Peribadi yang disebut dalam Klausa 1 di atas boleh didedahkan kepada golongan pihak ketiga seperti berikut agar Sure Expo dapat menguruskan perniagaan dengan berkesan dengan membekalkan Perkhidmatan Sure Expo kepada anda dan untuk mencapai tujuan yang diperihalkan dalam Klausa 2: -
(a) Pusat;
(b) Pengiklan;
(c) Pihak ketiga yang berkontrak dengan Sure Expo untuk membantu Sure Expo dalam menyediakan Perkhidmatan Sure Expo kepada anda, tidak terhad kepada yang berikut: -
(i) Perkhidmatan gerbang pembayaran bagi perkhidmatan pilihan;
(ii) Perkhidmatan profiling / taksiran;
(iii) Perkhidmatan pengiklanan;
(iv) Perkhidmatan pemetaan;
(v) Penyelenggaraan dan perkhidmatan pembaikan; dan
(vi) Penyelidikan pasaran dan perkhidmatan analisis penggunaan laman web.
(d) Rakan strategik yang bekerja dengan Sure Expo untuk menyediakan Perkhidmatan Sure Expo kepada anda atau untuk menubuhkan pasaran yang membantu dan menggalakkan Perkhidmatan Sure Expo dan/atau Laman Web Sure Expo;
(e) Badan-badan profesional kelayakan di mana anda memperolehi akreditasi anda;
(f) Badan-badan kawal selia, badan-badan kerajaan atau pihak berkuasa yang lain sekiranya diperlukan untuk berbuat demikian untuk menunaikan apa-apa fungsi kawal selia , di bawah mana-mana undang-undang atau yang berhubungan dengan apa-apa perintah atau penghakiman mahkamah;
(g) Badan-badan kawal selia, badan-badan kerajaan atau pihak berkuasa yang lain bagi tujuan pengesanan atau pencegahan jenayah, aktiviti yang menyalahi undang-undang atau penipuan atau bagi penangkapan atau pendakwaan pesalah-pesalah, atau untuk siasatan yang berkaitan dengan mana-mana yang tersebut;
(h) Mana-mana pihak yang terlibat dalam atau berkaitan dengan prosiding undang-undang (atau bakal prosiding undang-undang), bagi tujuan prosiding undang-undang;
(i) Penasihat-penasihat professional Sure Expo atas dasar perlu tahu supaya dapat memberikan nasihat professional kepada Sure Expo;
(j) Mana-mana pihak ketiga yang memperolehi semua atau sebahagian daripada aset atau perniagaan Sure Expo (termasuk akaun dan penghutang perdagangan) bagi tujuan pihak ketiga tersebut berterusan untuk menyediakan pondok/ruang kepada anda di Pameran; dan
(k) Sekiranya dibenarkan di bawah mana-mana undang-undang perlindungan data.
5.2 Selain daripada apa yang dinyatakan di atas, anda akan menerima notis apabila maklumat peribadi tentang anda mungkin disampaikan kepada pihak ketiga, dan anda akan berpeluang untuk membuat pilihan untuk tidak berkongsi maklumat.
5.3 Sure Expo tidak menjual atau menyewa maklumat peribadi yang dikumpulkan kepada mana-mana pihak yang lain.
6.1 Anda bertanggungjawab untuk memberikan maklumat yang tepat, lengkap, tidak mengelirukan dan terkini kepada Sure Expo bagi tujuan mengemaskini maklumat peribadi jika dan apabila ia sudah menjadi tidak tepat, mengelirukan, tidak lengkap dan tidak terkini dengan menghubungi Sure Expo di sini.
6.2 Sekiranya anda perlu untuk memberikan maklumat peribadi pihak ketiga, anda bertanggungjawab untuk memastikan individu-individu ini mengetahui bahawa anda akan memberikan maklumat peribadi mereka kepada Sure Expo, untuk memastikan mereka bersetuju dengan tindakan anda memberikan kami maklumat peribadi mereka dan memberitahu mereka di mana mereka boleh mencari sesalinan Notis Privasi ini (https://sureexpo.com.my/privacy).
