The Bachelor of Construction Management and Economics (Honours) and the Bachelor of Quantity Surveying (Honours) programmes are accredited by the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB), UK.
With the accreditation, graduates from the above 2 programmes have full academic exemption and with sufficient relevant work experience may apply for CIOB membership as an Applicant to progress towards Chartered Membership without the requirement for an Individual Assessment. Upon passing the Professional Review, they are eligible to become a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Building, UK (MCIOB).
The Bachelor of Construction Management and Economics (Honours), the Bachelor of Quantity Surveying (Honours) and the Bachelor of Real Estate Management (Honours) programmes are accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), UK.
With the accreditation, graduates from the above 3 programmes have full academic exemption and with sufficient relevant work experience may apply for Chartered Membership. Upon passing the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC), they are eligible to become a Chartered Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, UK (MRICS).
ii) (1), (2), and (3) must include SPM Credit/O Level Grade C/ UEC Grade B in one mathematics subject#
*Grade C and above in English Language conducted by TAR UMT is accepted as having fulfilled the English Language requirement for applicants who fail English Language at SPM/O Level/UEC.
#Grade B and above in General Mathematics conducted by TAR UMT is accepted as having fulfilled the Mathematics requirement for applicants with a pass in SPM/Grade D or Grade E (pass) in O Level/Grade C in UEC in the required Mathematics subject.
b) TAR UMT Diploma will be accepted on credit transfer into Bachelor Degree programmes.
c) Equivalent qualifications/qualifications from other Institution of Higher Learning (IHL) will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
d) Subject to the Ministry of Education latest requirements.
